Every year we hold a "Cut-A-Thon"
to raise money for
The American Cancer Society and
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
All of our stylists donate their time and hard work to offer $10 haircuts,
a bake sale, ribbon sales, 5 salon gift certificate auctions, pink hair extensions and bracelets. 

We donate 100% of the proceeds to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.  In 2008 we raised $600. In 2009, we raised over $1300 and in 2010, we raised over $1825 for The American Cancer Society.

 
Each year we give the first 50 haircuts
a free gift which is generously donated by each of our distributors, Goldwell NY and The Nailco Group. 
Salvatore's Pizzeria of Herkimer also donates pizza and other food and drink items for our Cut-A-Thon customers to enjoy while they waited for their turn to donate to our special event.  

At 2010's Cut-A-Thon, two Breast Cancer survivors attended to participate in the event as well as boost morale.  We would like to extend a special thank-you to all of the Cut-A-Thon participants throughout the years. We could not have raised all of the money without your support for this great cause!

In conjunction with the Cut-A-Thon each year, we also participate in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, a 3-mile walk held nationwide to benefit The American Cancer Society to find a cure for breast cancer.

On October 8th 2011, At our 4th Annual Cut-A-Thon, we raised over $2,300! With haircuts, extensions, ribbons, t-shirts, bracelets, raffles and many generous donations for our bake sale we reached and passed our goal of $1500.
